Mark and Charlene Sagapolutele, owners of Dance Polynesia, are originally from Maui, Hawaii. They are the leaders of Mana Toa of King's Cathedral & Chapels, a Christian dance ministry that disciples through the Polynesian cultures, and are the directors of KAPA, King's Academy of Performing Arts. They have over 45 years combined experience in Polynesian dance including Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, Maori, Tongan, Fijian and Cook Island. Mark and Char, or "The Sagas" as most people call them, have produced numerous performances nationwide and have also held dance workshops in the states of Hawaii, California, Washington and Texas. Their heart is to not only share the art of Polynesian dance, but to redeem the culture for the glory of God. They currently reside in Pearl City, Oahu with their four children.
